How do I change the material properties of the CMU in a face mounted anchor plate?
And how do I change the CMU thickness?

Thank you for reaching out. You can change the properties of your CMU in the “Base Material“ tab on PROFIS Engineering. From there, you can change the size and strength of your CMU block. Currently, for these properties, there are set options for users to choose from.

The size options are "grayed out" and cannot be changed.
I also don't have the strength tab available.
Do I have to update the online version of the software? I would think that was done automatically. And if so, how?

Hi Mark,
Thank you for sending the screenshots. It appears your design is currently in ASD. As you noted, for ASD, the CMU properties are not able to be adjusted. In order to adjust these properties on PROFIS Engineering Anchoring to Masonry, the design method would need to be switched to LRFD. This can be done under the “Loads/Calculation Type“ Tab.
