CFS-SP WB Fire Spray. Can it be painted over?

We have a project where we have used CFS-SP WB Fire Spray at the head of a wall where it meets a fluted deck. The owner has asked if we can paint over the fire spray? For me the question is really 3 part. 1 Can you paint it? 2 What kind of paint if you can paint it? 3 How does painting over the fire spray effect the UL?
