Can you offer a UL joint sealant for a 1 hr CMU top of wall?
We require a UL Joint system for the head of a CMU wall to the underside of a 1 hr ceiling/roof assembly.

We have listings for the sealing of a gypsum wall to a floor/ceiling assembly (see attached HWS0090) but a CMU wall to a roof/ceiling assembly will require an engineering judgement. You can request an engineering judgement, which will be a custom detail showing your conditions along with the methods and materials required to maintain the needed rating, by visiting Hilti.com/EJ
