We have a 1HR rated fire barrier room, one of the walls that terminates above the ceiling, makes it is almost impossible to sheetrock and fire stop with all the mechanical devices above the grid. we are looking to see if we can remove existing ceiling tiles and add 1 HR rated ceiling tiles to make the room compliant.

In general, ceiling tiles are not normally rated for 1 hour. If the rated assembly is a floor/ceiling assembly with gypsum we can see if there's a solution we can provide given the opening size and penetrants. We have listings like F-C-8059 (see attached) which may help.
Beyond that this may need to be a condition in which we can determine if an Engineering Judgment (EJ) can be created.
