I'm trying to evaluate a long TZ anchor, but Profis limits the options for length. For example, I know I can order a TZ2 1/2"x10", but Profis options only go to maximum length of 4.5" (3.25 h_ef). Is there a way to increase the embedment used in Profis, or is there a reason we shouldn't be using long TZ2 with an increased embedment?

Effective embedments are limited to those we have testing for; see Table 1 on page 6 of ESR-4266 for effective embedment options. Hilti offers longer anchors to account for variances in base plate thicknesses as well as nut and washers. Any embedment that is deeper than what is listed in its ESR is out of the scope of testing. Ultimately, all design decisions are up to the engineer of record.
