Can I install Hilti HY-270 in the middle of a multi-wythe 12 in. masonry wall?

Looking at the technical guides, all I see is it can go in the face of the brick wall and nothing about top down into the brick. There is a section about going down into a fully grouted CMU brick though. I intended to bear on top of the wall and anchor down in.

Hi Ken,

Per Table 16 on page 194 of the Anchor Fastening Technical Guide, HIT HY-270 can be installed into the top of multi-wythe hollow brick wall. HIT-HY 270 only has testing into the face of a multi-wythe solid brick wall.
