can I epoxy 1 and 1/4 inch rod into 1 1/2 inch hole with 500 epoxy
we purchased from Hilti 1 and 1/2 inch core bits and 1 and 1/4 inch rods as well as 500 epoxy. is this proper from engineering standards for hilti

Hello Lindsey,
Installation parameters, including nominal drill bit size, for Hilti’s anchors can be found in Hilti’s Anchor Fastening Technical Guide. For HIT-RE 500 V3, Table 24 on page 122 includes information specific to threaded rod. For core drilled holes with a larger diameter than noted in this table, Hilti does have additional supplemental testing with HIT-RE 500 V3 available in this Large Annular Gap Bulletin.
