I am part of a consulting firm and we were requested to find out if CFS-SP WB Firestop Joint Spray (https://www.buildsite.com/pdf/hilti/CFS-SP-WB-Firestop-Joint-Spray-SDS-2188159.pdf) can be applied on top of the Asbestos encapsulation product called SerpiFlex (https://www.fiberlock.com/sds/SerpiFlex-(2451)-SDS.pdf). Unfortunately, we cannot apply any of our firestop products onto Asbestos. The Asbestos will need to be removed through the whole jobsite before we can provide any solutions. If you have any questions, please call us at 1-800-879-8000.
