Can a KWIK wedge anchor be mechanically disengaged?
Could one release the frictional engagement of the wedge by "unscrewing" the bolt and then pull the anchor out without damaging the concrete? This would be for a temporary installation.

Hi John,
Hilti Kwik Bolt anchors are not intended to be used in temporary applications. The removal of the expansion anchor could damage the concrete surrounding the anchor and the anchor would not be able to be reused. If you are looking for an anchor for a temporary application, Hilti Kwik HUS anchors are able to be removed and reused in a different location.
