Breakout splitting factor per ACI 318-19 section 17.6.2.6 calculated in PROFIS
Hello, I'm designing the anchorage shown in the attachment, and it seems that PROFIS is not calculating the correct breakout splitting factor. If I follow the equation shown in ACI 1318-19 section 17.6.2.6, I should be getting 0.55 but PROFIS shows 1.0.
Is there anything I'm missing?
Thank you

I believe the answer is related to cracked vs uncracked concrete under service conditions. If I check the "Cracked concrete" box in PROFIS, the splitting factor is 1. Unchecking the "Cracked concrete" box results in a splitting factor of 0.55. In the attached file there is a side-by-side comparison. Some background information is available in ACI 318-19 section R17.6.2.6.1 and R17.6.2.6.2.
