Is there an UL systems for a blank opening in a gypsum shaft.

Thank you for you question regarding blank openings in gypsum shaft walls. Unfortunately, we do not have a listed system similar to W-L-0018 utilizing a gypsum shaft wall. We can accommodate this condition in an Engineering Judgement (EJ), which is a project specific, custom firestop solution. To request an EJ, please follow the instruction pasted below. When requesting, be sure to confirm whether there is access from only one side of the shaft wall, or both sides.
