Base plate design
cantilevered base plate with 3 anchors in a triangular pattern, can the software calculate capacity when a shear force, moment and axial load is applied somewhere on the square plate

Hi Stephen,
Shear loads, tension loads, and moments can be input into PROFIS Engineering. Custom anchor layouts can also be designed within the software. Hilti has several how-to videos to help users get started with the PROFIS Engineering Suite software. For additional information on the various design modules/methods, Hilti provides several on-demand Engineering Center webinars on topics such as base plate design, anchoring to masonry, and anchoring to concrete-over-metal deck.
