Hello Hilti FPE team. Is there a firestop system for Aquatherm piping through a gypsum board shaft wall? 50Pa is required. However, if there's even a system with 2.5Pa I'd like to know. Access to the pipe is only from one side of the wall but if need be I could access both sides of the shaft wall. If systems are not available, is an EJ possible?

Hilti does not have a system that accommodates the firestop application described in your inquiry above; therefore, we will need to create an Engineering Judgment (EJ). Through the EJ process we can provide a solution based off of tested firestop systems that specifically calls out 2.5Pa and that can be installed from one, or both sides of the gypsum shaft wall assembly.
