anchors on metal deck
I have a question about anchors on metal deck.
I only have 2" of concrete over the metal deck
It doesn't appear I can get any type of anchor to work in this situation
loads would be 8,400 lb-in of moment and 200 lb of shear at base connection to concrete. Seems like I am hitting a wall of anchors that can work in this situation which is why I told them to thru-bolt, but now they are coming back and asking again is there no anchor that can do this?

Hi Matt,
Per Hilti’s testing, for post-installed anchors installed into metal deck, the minimum concrete fill is 2-1/2” inches. Additionally, through-bolting applications are outside the scope of Hilti's testing.
