Anchoring to spalled / unconsolidated existing concrete
Are there any specific anchor or drilling requirements when fastening to an existing concrete surface that shows significant spalling or a lack/loss of consolidation (aggregates crumbling on concrete surface)?

Hi Uttman,
Unfortunately, Hilti does not have any testing or guidance for anchorages into concrete that is crumbling. You could use on-site testing to verify the capacity of the anchor.
