Anchor in Concrete Module Steel Failure in Net Compression
I'm designing a post-installed anchor with the "Anchoring to Concrete" module. My anchor is a HAS Rod with HIT-HY200 adhesive. I'm confused why the module is showing a steel failure in tension when the worst case load combination is putting the anchor in compression? The net force on the anchor in this load combination does show to be in the direction of gravity. Thanks for your time in advance.
