Anchor embedment for HST3

I have a question. Why I can not assume more than 70 mm ,,Embedment depth h_ef'' for HST3_M12.
My connections has small steel utilization about 3 %, but concrete breakout is 75 %.
So I want to decrease utilization by extending ,,Embedment depth h_ef'' but it is inposible.
I checked and minimum Embedment depth = 70 mm but anchor max length is 350 mm so it should not be a problem to assume for example Embedment depth = 100 mm it will increase a lot the ,,concrete breakout'' capacity.
If the program doesn't have possiblity to extend the anhor ,,Embedment depth'' are there any reason that cause that I shouldn't calculate manualy formula ACI 318-14 Eq. (17.4.2.1b) using for example h.ef=100 mm?

Hi Pawel,

Unfortunately, you are limited to the embedment depths Hilti has testing for, which is 70 mm for the HST3 M12. You may reference the IAPMO report here. It is not possible to calculate different embedment depths, since all of the factors needed for the calculations are based on the embedment depth that Hilti tested.
