Adjusting embedment depth for dowels
Hello, I am currently using your concrete to concrete design option and would like to adjust the embedment depth for the dowels. However, the option to adjust the embedment depth is disabled (see picture attached). Please advise.

Hi Tony,
In the Concrete to Concrete joints module, PROFIS Engineering is using the equations from Chapter 25 of ACI 318 to determine the embedment depth (Equation 25.4.2.4). Therefore, you are unable to edit the value within this module. If you would like to change the embedment depth, then you will need to use the anchoring to concrete module in PROFIS Engineering.
