We are looking for a detail for a PVC pipe penetration through a UL L-528 horizontal assembly (wood truss). The pipe is larger than 2" diameter, but not more than 4". It is within the wall cavity and penetrating at the top plate of the wall, through the horizontal assembly. Thanks.

We do not have any listing that will specifically call out an L528 floor ceiling assembly. Are listings are more general and just call out L500 series design so they can be used for a variety of L500 designs. I have attached the UL listing for FC-2030 to this response which can be used to address maximum 4" PVC through an L500 series floor/ceiling assembly with an optional gypsum chase wall for the penetration to run through.
If you would like to specific design number called out we would need to address that in an engineering judgement. If that is the route you would like to take I have attached instruction for the Hilti Construction Platform below. This is where you will go to submit for engineering judgement request.
