Hi, I have a Gravity load column supporting an extended slab. Per core and building type, it requires being 3hr rated. The column is an HSS6x6x1/2, and can't find an intumescent paint or approved detail for such a small profile. Do you have a product I can specify or an engineering judgment report I can use to specify and get the city's approval?

Please submit an engineering judgement request through the Hilti Construction Platform for your request. We should be able to do an engineering judgement for an extrapolated DFT thickness for this size of member at a 3-Hour Rating.
