we have an existing condition of an 8" CMU wall that we need to upgrade to a 2-hour rated partition. The CMU wall terminates with a raked bond beam that follows the slope of the metal roof above. There is a 3x3x 5/16 angle on the one side of the beam that aligns with the top of the steel joists and the other side is open. The roof structure is 8" Z purlins with a PT 2x4 thermal break (perpendicular to the CMU wall) and then a pre-formed metal roof panel. We need an assembly / detail to infill the space between the top of the concrete bond beam and the underside of the metal deck. There is batt insulation suspended
