I'm looking for a 2-hour rated head of wall detail for a gyp bd and metal stud wall terminating against a pre-engineered metal building roof. The UL detail HW-D-0528 and HW-D-0529 have all the components, however I need a 2-hour rating. Is there a way to get and EJ with an additional layer of GWB on both sides? Another detail that I looked at was UL detail CJ-D-0004. This detail won't work as standing seam roof on existing building is not a minimum of 20 gauge.
