We have a 8” CMU wall that is only accessible from one side with a few EMT and copper penetrations. Wall is listed as U904 assembly requiring 3 hour protection. We are looking for a detail to fire stop the 1” annular space around the penetrations from one side only. Do you have a detail using your products that achieve this?

We do not have an off the shelf listed firestop system to be used for metallic penetrations through a 3-hr. fire-rated concrete wall with only one side access. However, we can review this application for an Engineering Judgment (EJ) to accommodate the firestop application described in your inquiry. EJ's are custom details showing the exact application with the firestop components required to maintain the stated ratings.
