1 hour rating drywall ceiling
Need some help on a project we have in San Jose . One layer of drywall has been added over the TJIs but does not meet a 1 hour rating . As you can see by the pictures for us to add another layer of drywall is close to impossible . Were looking for Hiltis help here for maybe a spray we can do over this ceiling to complete a 1 hour rating . Its about 700 SF Area .

Hello Greg, unfortunately Hilti firestopping and fireproofing we would not be able provide the rating you are looking for. Firestopping is designed to restore a rating of an assembly not create the rating, and our fireproofing is for structural steel and would be suitable here. I am sorry Hilti is not able to help you here more.
