is there a fire stop system detail for a duct passing thru a 1 hour fire rated partition. the duct is suspended from roof joists that will have 3-5" of movement - thus the duct will as well. the partition has a deflection track at the head condition at roof.

We have several systems that are for ducts through a 1-hr. partition; however, none of them specify movement. If you are interested in achieving movement, I would recommend requesting an Engineering Judgment, which will be a custom detail showing your exact application with the firestop components required to maintain the stated ratings.
