Course Information

Your Benefit

Get a Qualified Operator's Card on our direct fastening tools while learning how to safely operate and maintain the tool and how to react if an incident occurs.

The Training

During the course you will be guided through a set of interactive slides covering key topics for tool operation and handling with useful details and additional information available throughout.

Following the course, you will need to correctly answer a set of questions then your Qualified Operator's Card will automatically be issued. As you submit your answers, you will know immediately if your answer is right or wrong. If you do not pass on your first try, you can take it again. Should you need to pause the course at any point, you can pick up where you left off.

Validity and Renewal

Qualified Operator's Card is valid for the defined tools and does not expire. New tools not noted on the certificate may require additional training and certification.

Tool Operator

To get a DX Qualified Operator's Card for yourself, click "Register Yourself." If you are logged into your Hilti account, you will go directly to our online training platform. If you need to create a Hilti account, you will be prompted to setup an account by providing your email address and a password.

Training is available in English, Spanish, or French. Once you're on the training site, you'll be able to select your preferred language and get started.

If you've successfullly completed the online course, but can't locate your Qualified Operator's Card, you can access a copy on the training platform up to two years after the completion date.
