Using the HIT HY270 adhesive for glass balustrade installation of glass into an aluminum channel. How do you calculate how much to use?

I have saved a number of projects in our company folder, but when others go to access, it says "Cannot open the design file because it is locked by..." I have tried signing myself out in case the issue was with all of our licenses being in use, but that did not work. Any ideas?
