I have a pure tension load of 1892 LBS on (2) S.S. HAS Rods using HIT-HY 200 adhesive. Minimum embedment is 4 1/2 and spacing is 4. If I take the loads from the table, load factor for spacing and then divide by a factor of safety of 4.0 - it does not work. I am fairly confident that it does work. What am I doing wrong with...

Hello, I am looking for a cast-in anchor to embed into 5/8” thick gfrc panels to be used in a rainscreen/facade application.

Looking for a system sheet on how to rate a penetration through concrete floor. I have large conduits and cast plumbing pipes

PROFIS does not allow the use of HAS threaded rod with the SafeSet system, despite the Anchor Fastening Technical Guide (22nd Ed.) saying that it can be used per page 57. Can you please explain the reasoning for this, as well as the reasoning why HIT-HY 200 V3 + HIT-Z has less breakout capacity than HIT-HY 200 V3 + HAS? I'm ...

We are looking to subscribe to the Profis premium to analyze an aluminum base plate with the CBFEM calculation. A quick browse through other questions indicates there is a custom material option but none of them show what mechanical properties can be customized. What mechanical properties would we have control over?

Hello, I am designing the retrofit of a concrete cantilever beam where #6 rebars will be post-installed in an existing structure using adhesive anchors, then new concrete will be cast onto the rebars. The new concrete will experience gravity loads, a minor tensile force (which can be reasonably neglected), a bending moment in...

Hello, I'm looking for a head detail for a 3 hrs rated 8'' CMU wall. CMU stops just below a metal beam. I found a typical UL detail but it's a 2hs fire rated assembly - is it possible to have the same thing (or similar) for a 3 hrs fire rated assembly ?

Hilti Profis is not allowing me to select 3/8 anchors. I've used Profis plenty of times before and have specified 3/8 anchors.

We have a 2-hour UL U419 wall that terminates at the deck above with a joist centered on the metal stud framing. Do you have a detail to justify the 2-hour continuation with the joist in the wall?

Anchorage of fiberglass tank. We estimate uplift to be about 6000 lbs ( service load) per anchor location. Anchorage will be to competent bedrock. Looking at chemical anchors. Seeking advice re preparation, hole diameter, hole length, resistance to uplift.
