I need UL / EJ for joint application on a non fire rated glass canopy to 2 hr fire rated gypsum wall assembly.

Open end conduit penetrating 2hr barrier. Extends about 12" off the wall. Couldn't find a specific UL System for it. We found one where the conduit is allowed to be flushed or max 2" off the wall. We have some of them through gypsum board and some through cement block. Looking for solution , we can cut the sleeves down if need...

Is there a way to stop cloud files from automatically saving with every change made? It is extremely frustrating to be testing different designs in the same file because it saves every change you do in real time. Or if you open and old file that is no longer supported by hilti, it automatically defaults to something and wipes ...

Is it possible to use a custom anchor layout in the Hitli Profis Engineering software for concrete over metal deck applications. I see there is a custom layout for normal concrete applications but not one for metal decks.

It seems that Profis limits the number of anchors to 6 in the Masonry. Can I increase the number of anchors?

I am using PROFIS to design the HILTI post-installed anchorage in a retrofit project. The project is based on ASCE 41. I have the following questions regarding the installation conditions. 1) Per Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines, it is recommended to use water to control dust when drilling anchor holes. For th...

Are there any verification checks to ensure the Profis software is working properly? An example design to compare results with?

Hello, I would like to specify two KB TZ2, with 1/2" diameter, effective depth of 1.5" and spaced roughly 6". Per ESR 4266 (see attachment) , the minimum allowable spacing is 12". It seems that the table might be inaccurate? 12" seems excessive. Thank you

Do you plan on providing a line of anchor testers? With Hilti's history in providing anchoring systems it would be good to have a line of testers for people to purchase for testing anchors they install. I purchase parts multiple times every year that I have to put together to make testers for use and send out to my installers ...

I am using Hilti products for a retrofit project per ASCE 41. The anchor type I am using is HIT-RE 500 V3 HAS I am using PROFIS to calculate the anchorage nominal capacities (without Phi factors). However, the factor αV,Seis drastically changes my design for all the anchors I am using depending on the grade I select. The PRO...
