Hello, I would like to specify the HLC sleeve anchors for anchoring a doubled LVL ledger to a CMU wall to support wood trusses. I am using the NDS to design for dowel connections in single shear so I was wondering, what is the yield strength and ultimate strength of the HLC sleeve anchors? I just see they are carbon steel, so...

I am working on a job with a shallow slab that uses an embed plate with weld studs. We specified a 5 embedment, but the contractor noted that because the plate is 1/2 thick, the weld studs would only be 4-1/2 long. This made me wonder whether the effective embedment depth of the anchor is impacted by the thickness of the base ...

We are submitting turnover documentation for a project and need to include product warranty documents. Is there one for Hilti RE-500?

I Need to submit product data and information for requested HIS-N Stainless 5/8 internally threaded anchors but cannot find any technical data to download.

Capacity values stop at 6,000 and 8,000 respectively which seems to imply concrete strength maximums, but also indicates testing has not been performed in concrete strength beyond those values. Concrete design strength is typically specified to be within the capacity limits of the PAF, however 28-day compressive strength test...

Will Profis be updated to include AISC DG1 3rd Edition? Is there a projected date for this?

Where do I get the pdh for the webinar I just attended?

Is there any guidance or recommendation for using HY-200A adhesive for post installed anchorage of a structural supporting member that will be anchored to a large concrete pedestal that supports in service rotating equipment and creates some vibration within the pedestal?

Hi, we are replacing equipment in an existing building. The existing equipment is anchored with Hilti KB TZ anchors. The replacement equipment will be anchored with Hilti KB TZ2 anchors. Where the existing anchors are abandoned in place, what is the minimum spacing between and new and old anchors for the new anchors to have fu...

I'm looking for an engineering evaluation that was referenced by our installing contractor for our project. It's Hilti JM 566783a. Is this something that can be shared with me? Specifically, I need to see what the tested deflection criteria was for this evaluation. Our detail / installation must accommodate 3 (maximum) down...
