Inquiry on KH HUS-EZ
What's the difference between a KWIK HUS SCREW ANCHOR and a KH-EZ SCREW ANCHOR?
What does HUS signify?
What does KH-EZ signify?

Hi Tony,
The Kwik HUS-EZ (KH-EZ) and Kwik HUS screw anchors are two different screw anchoring options offered by Hilti, where "HUS" is simply part of the product names. One key difference between the two products is that the Kwik HUS is reusable, while the KH-EZ may only be used once. For a more detailed comparison, please reference the Anchor Selection Guide on page 6 of the Anchor Fastening Technical Guide.

Matthew

To decode the acronyms, here is what I know:
- K is for Kwik, a homophonic misspelling of "quick"
- H is an abbreviation of the acronym HUS, so sort of a meta-acronym
- HUS is Hilti Universal Screw
- EZ is the abbreviated homophonic misspelling of "easy"
What's important, however, is the other response which describes the exact naming and difference between the two anchors.
