Epoxy Anchors in wet location
We have a horse stock that needs re-anchoring. We need to have it where the bolts can be easily removed and repalced for maintenance. And it's in a wet area with concrete floor with 1 1/2" rubber tiles.

Hi James,
For anchor product selection help, please see Hilti’s Anchor Product Technical Guide from Hilti's website. Below are quick links to sections of the Tech Guide:
- Anchor Selection Chart on pages 4-7 - a helpful comparison of Hilti's anchors
- Section 3.2 Adhesive Anchoring Systems starting on page 30
- Commonly considered ultimate-performance adhesive anchors for concrete are HIT-HY 200 V3 (fast cure) and HIT-RE 500 V3 (slow cure)
- HIT-RE 500 V3 Technical Data with threaded rod – this has testing into water saturated concrete, water-filled holes, and underwater installation conditions
- HIT-HY 200 V3 Technical Data with threaded rod -- this has testing into water saturated concrete and water-filled holes
- Threaded rod is available in stainless steel
- The Hilti HIS-N internally threaded rod is an alternative to threaded rod and is commonly used for temporary fastenings
- Section 3.3 Mechanical Anchoring Systems starting on page 261
- The most commonly considered expansion/wedge anchor is the Hilti Kwik Bolt TZ2 which comes in a stainless steel option
Ultimately, all design decisions are at the discretion of the Engineer of Record (EOR) on the project.
Thank you,
Emily
