With this substantial shift in the industry, Hilti is taking the lead in explorative testing and the development of new tested firestop systems. From this testing, Hilti’s Fire Protection Engineering Team is developing a deep understanding of how aluminum penetrants are expected to perform while undergoing fire-endurance testing, and proper ways to firestop these conditions through both UL Listed Systems and Engineering Judgments.
